This is kirshwasser. It is colorless, not sweet, and has an alcohol content of around 40% (however
there is no alcohol in fondue since it evaporates quickly).
This may be one of the most difficult ingredient to find in some regions. As opposed to what you may read in some recipes, it is important to use kirshwasser since it is used for its taste and not its alcohol.
