Shallot sauce recipe |
I use prepared mayonnaise, preferably light. Finely chop some shallots, mix well with the mayonnaise, let rest in the fridge for at least one hour before serving. The amount of shallot will depend on your taste, I use a lot of it and no one has ever complained (one medium size shallot per 100 g mayonnaise). You can improve the sauce consistency with a dash of Port (white). |
